1. About DreamCode Cloud

DreamCode Cloud is DreamCode Interactive's cloud-gaming service.

DreamCode Cloud allows supported games to run on remote infrastructure and be streamed to compatible user devices.

2. Cloud gaming is a service

DreamCode Cloud does not guarantee that a game is permanently installed on your device.

Games may run on DreamCode-controlled or third-party infrastructure and may be delivered to you through streaming technology.

3. Supported games

Only games specifically made available through DreamCode Cloud can be played through the service.

A game available through DreamCode Hub is not automatically available through DreamCode Cloud.

4. Supported devices

DreamCode Cloud may support selected:

desktop computers;
laptops;
mobile devices;
tablets;
browsers;
operating systems;
controllers;
other devices.

Supported devices may change.

5. Internet connection

DreamCode Cloud requires an internet connection.

Your experience depends on:

download speed;
upload speed;
latency;
packet loss;
Wi-Fi quality;
network congestion;
ISP performance;
distance from our servers;
device performance.

DreamCode cannot guarantee a particular latency or streaming quality.

6. Cloud sessions

A cloud session may be subject to technical limitations.

Depending on the service configuration, these may include:

session duration;
inactivity limits;
concurrent-session limits;
capacity restrictions;
queues;
supported resolutions;
supported input devices.

Applicable limits may be displayed within the service.

7. Server capacity

DreamCode Cloud depends on available computing resources.

During periods of high demand, access may be limited or delayed.

We may use queues or other capacity-management systems.

8. Performance

Cloud gaming is inherently dependent on network and infrastructure conditions.

DreamCode does not guarantee:

a particular frame rate;
a particular resolution;
a particular latency;
uninterrupted gameplay;
zero input delay;
uninterrupted streaming;
compatibility with every network.

9. Game licences

Cloud access is separate from ownership of a game.

A game may be available on Cloud even if the user does not own a local copy, depending on the specific service.

Conversely, purchasing a game through Hub does not guarantee access to that game through Cloud.

10. Cloud saves

Where cloud saves are supported, DreamCode may store game-save information associated with your account.

Cloud-save availability may vary by game.

DreamCode does not guarantee permanent preservation of every save file.

You should maintain additional copies of important data where the game supports this.

11. Maintenance

We may temporarily suspend Cloud for:

maintenance;
updates;
infrastructure changes;
security work;
repairs;
capacity management.

12. Abuse

You must not:

overload Cloud infrastructure;
attempt to obtain unauthorised computing resources;
bypass session restrictions;
exploit bugs for additional capacity;
interfere with another user's session;
use automated systems to consume unreasonable resources;
attempt to access another user's session;
use Cloud for unlawful activity.

13. Security

Attempts to compromise Cloud infrastructure may result in immediate suspension or termination of access.

14. Availability

Cloud is provided on an availability basis rather than as a guarantee of continuous operation.

Third-party infrastructure and network failures may also affect availability.

15. Changes to Cloud

DreamCode may:

add games;
remove games;
modify supported devices;
change technical requirements;
modify session limits;
modify capacity;
change the interface;
suspend or discontinue Cloud.

Mandatory consumer rights remain unaffected.

16. Termination

DreamCode may suspend or terminate access where reasonably necessary to:

protect infrastructure;
prevent abuse;
enforce these Terms;
comply with law;
investigate security incidents.
